WU-002 Bloedel Reserve May 10th hosts The Intimate Music Series Travelers

Experience the Intimate Music Series from St. Barnabas core group of musicians — Amy Duerr Day on oboe, Patricia Strange on violin and Patricia Beasley on clarinet with Samuel Brodsky on piano—as they share an evening of rich and lyrical chamber music within the historic and award-winning gardens of Bloedel Reserve.

Featuring compositions by Franz Schubert, Bela Bartok, Joao Camacho, Richard Cumming, Robert Sibbing, Felix Mendelssohn and Darius Milhaud, the concert celebrates spring in bloom among the rhododendron and tranquil landscape.

WU-001 Ignite Bainbridge on stage on May 6th - Barry Peters with Leslie Schneider

The 3rd annual "Ignite Bainbridge" event on May 6th at 7pm (reception starts 6pm) is similar to a TED Talks ... for the rest of us. It’s open to the public (small fee) and will feature about a dozen presenters, each with exactly five minutes to tell their story, and exactly 20 slides, changing every 15 seconds … whether they like it or not.  In this podcast, BCB's Barry Peters interviews event sponsor Leslie Schneider of the Bainbridge Island business called OfficeXpats, which is the site of the event at the Pavilion movie theater building in Winslow, Bainbridge Island, Washington.
